Peter Kalal is a researcher and strategist who partners with organizations to deepen impact, navigate uncertainty, and accelerate growth for the good of society.

As chief strategist at Arthur M. Cohen Advisors, Peter leads brand, innovation, and experience engagements for Fortune 500s, large family offices, and leading non-profits, working with executive teams on ambitious initiatives spanning new product development, placemaking, business model innovation, resilience, and more.

Peter earned his PhD in German Studies from Columbia University, where his research explored how emerging technologies rewire the circuits of meaning and experience. He also holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Rochester. His writings on experimental music have appeared in The Wire and Musiktexte, and he has spoken at events hosted by Columbia, Yale, Princeton, Indiana University, Freie Universität Berlin, and APAP|NYC.
